These bots use beyond, a Lambda function which reads recent link posts on subreddits. It then filters, deduplicates, and posts deeplinks (i.e. directly to the content, not to Reddit) to Mastodon and Bluesky.

The filter parameters used by beyond are dialled in manually per subreddit, based on their traffic levels and moderator activity. In addition, the filtering DNS resolver used as a secondary anti-spam/anti-porn/etc. mechanism is NextDNS.
